The HMS 9th Grade Academy held our kickoff to the "Smart Work Ethics" program on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. This program is for 9th grade students. Students will participate in a series of lessons through Ms. Pope's Career Tech class that will better prepare them to join the workforce. Each lesson stresses skills our students will need to be successful employees, no matter what type of job they have.
We would like to thank Rosalind James, Youth Committee Chair WIOA Region 6 Alabama Works Workforce Development Council, for her attendance and help with this awesome program. We would also like to thank her for her encouraging words to our students during our kickoff assembly.
